This site has been deteriorating for some while.
More and more the enemy within; damaging the wounded Church in less and less subtle ways. Dissent, supporting ways and teachings that are against the Word of God..disseminating the "spin " that blames anyone but the Church for the massive child abuse.. this week a tirade against the media.... who for once have understated the crimes clerics and religious have committed and covered up.... accusing families of not defending their children and thus blaming them...
All the worst elements within Holy Mother Church....
Sometimes photos that are less than acceptable litter the tirades....
And, wrongly, they have been allowed to pass because the site is useful for news..mea culpa..
Early this morning, eyes and heart and soul were shocked into outrage. A photo of two naked men, one black, one white, sprawled and intertwined on a bed in the shape of a cross..
Pornography indeed.... immorality indeed..
There have been others; two men dressed as priests, kissing.
Some of the team of this site say they are priests...not so for priests do not do such things..
Our response has simply been to request that the link there to this weblog be removed as there is no way we will be associated with this site. And we have stated why.
We have also suggested the site needs to apply for an over 18 certification for such images.
This is not homophobia; it is cleaving to the Word of God, to Jesus, to purity and the moral laws God writes.
And that we be not subjected to these revolting and pornographic images on a public site that professed to represent Holy Mother Church...God help us all!
All part of the mess Ireland is in.
This week we have been trying to get delivery of two large boxes of craft materials, a wondrous donation from an old friend upcountry ie within Ireland.
As we do not accept incoming calls for obvious reasons, and cannot afford a mobile, the sender attached clear and full directions to the House to each box. This has always worked with another courier firm... Never any issues.
Delivery day passed and when I called the firm, they told me that the driver had been unable to find the House. The girl said there were no instructions given but when I called the driver and gave him clear directions, it emerged that he had been almost to the House and simply not bothered to get out of the van and knock at the nearest door.. us... Again I gave him clear instructions and also said please put the boxes over the gate if we are out...
And of course followed that up in writing by email; clear authorisation.
This morning saw the most officious and discourteus and obstructive of emails from the office. No delivery unless.. and a list of conditions that had already been fulfilled, so no point in calling with directions already given and ignored.
Nothing I can add to the clear directions so carefully given...
They had not even bothered to put the parcels on the van today.
Demand after demand, and the man cannot even get the name right.
Customer service?
As we tell them, An Post know where we are!
Post the boxes!
And there is silence now and who knows where the boxes are and where they will be next.
This has happened with this firm before.. I had a call once from their driver once demanding I drive into town and meet him there else no delivery... That time I asked the sender , a regular giver, never to use that firm, that An Post is far better.
The firm is called.... if you can believe it.. FASTWAY... You hear that? FAST WAY.. expensive and totally.. well, words fail.
They have no head office; franchises, but someone must have some power over them?
FASTWAY, please post the boxes as An Post know us....Clearly you are incapable of delivering them so let the experts take over now....And send the kind giver her money back...
And please, never send anything by courier to us! Never, never, never...
And if anyone out there knows who in this benighted land regulates courier services, let us know..
